In A Realm Beyond Walkthrough of God of War (2018), you will have to get an intro to the Tree of Life and you will unlock Realm of Alfhiem for the next Chapter: The Light of Alfhiem.
In Chapter 3 Path to the Mountain Kratos with this son Atreus left his house to reach the mountain, he has to face a lot of monsters in this path, but he also found an ally The Witch. In Chapter 3 A Realm Beyond, you will be activating the Tree of Life to travel between Realms. This is a short chapter where you won’t fight much. Instead, you will unlock a Realm that will take you to Alfheim.

Follow The Witch
After getting the path blocked by Black Breath, follow the Witch towards the new Realm. Rotate a lever on your left to move the lift. The Witch will tell you about Tyr’s Temple and a path to Alfhiem. Keep following her, open the door and then follow her into the cave. After crossing the second door, you will reach the temple. Follow the witch’s instructing to re-align the bridge. Lift the axel and move it. Once done, follow the witch. Open the door, and keep following the Witch. There is a final door where the witch will stop after giving the boy an upgraded bow. This new region is Realm Travel Room.
Travel to Alfheim
The witch will give you a description of the Tree of Life and finally you will learn about the way you can travel through different Realm. Rotate the wheel towards Alfheim. Also, every realm requires a travel rune that will unlock the bridge towards it. Rune for Alfhiem will be given to you by the witch.
