What would be GTA V PC requirements for Max Settings?

At present Rockstar Games has only announced GTA V for PS3 and Xbox with Spring 2013 release window, nothing officially has been announced yet with regards to PC port, however it is expected to arrive few months later than its consoles counterpart.

Considering that Spring 2013 release window of GTA V is just around the corner, its a perfect time period to take into consideration PC requirements of GTA V to play on MAX settings.

We have seen graphics and visual effects of GTA V, and they just looks amazing and astonishing, but have no idea whatsoever as to what the PC system requirements (Max Setting) would be of this latest masterpiece by Rockstar Games.

However if we have to place a bet, GTA V PC System requirements (Max Settings) will be very much similar to Max Payne 3's PC system (highest configuration). The only difference possible would be next-generation CPUs and GPUs (Reference: GTA forums user PrometheusX).

  • Windows 7/Vista (64 bit)
  • Intel i7 3930K 6 Core x 3.06 GHZ or AMD FX8150 8 Core x 3.6 GHZ
  • 16GB System RAM
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2GB RAM or AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB RAM

So we have listed below Max Payne 3 highest tested PC system requirement below, check them out and let us know in the comment section below, whether this fit with GTA V or not?. Also let us know, according to you what should be the GTA V PC specs (for Max Setting) should be?

Actually depending if the game will be running Direct X 11, with those Goodie stuff added, I doubt you will be able to run it full with 60fps or even 30, I have that full spec in my computer right now, but a 4gb 680 instead of 2 , and if i run max with direct x 11, in far cry 3, I get 15 fps lol (fully stocked, small oc 3.8)

No , i Have 16Gb Ram And i5 3570k 3.50ghz and zotac Gtx 680 i should be able to max it out easily , must games wont benefit from a cpu with more than 4 cores , i5 3570k is an overkill for gaming let alone the i7 3930k a gtx 680 will be fine for 1080P max settings and yeah fot all the texures and anti alliasing 16gb ram is needed and im pretty sure amd cards arent optimized for this game like all games so nvidia is the way to go , though im getting my 690 quad sli soon since im getting a sony 4k tv soon
