The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will not release on PS3 and Xbox 360 confirms CD Projekt RED

CD Projekt RED has officially confirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the last chapter in Geralt's story will not release on current generation consoles (i.e PS3 and Xbox 360).

On Twitter CD Projekt RED clearly stated, "To anyone who's asking: No, we are not releasing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for current generation consoles."

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the cover story of GameInformer March 2013, and the cover of this latest issue also carries a tag-line, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, A Must See Next Generation RPG".

This might be a sad news for some gamers as during generational shift, many games see a launch on both old as well as new consoles. However this won't be the case with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
