Naughty Dog's first major release on the Playstation 4 is The Last of Us: Remastered. The game achieved massive success on Playstation 3, critics called it a masterpiece and once in a life-time experience. On PS4, The Last of Us: Remastered runs at a glorious 1080p/60 FPS. Recent test impressions from few Naughty Dog developers indicated that The Last of Us: Remastered on Playstation 4 is a complete revamp, so much so that it looks like it was originally created for Playstation 4.
What brings this dramatic revamp, 1080p? According to Quentin Cobb, Game Designer at Naughty_Dog it is "60 FPS" that takes it to another level.
"1080p looks great but it's the increased frame rate that really takes it to the next level. :)" tweeted Quentin.
In another news, Christian Gyrling, Lead Programmer at Naughty Dog confirmed that The Last of Us: Remastered on Playstation 4 has the same language support as that of Playstation 3 port and it will ship on just ONE disc.
"yes, it has the same language support." and "Just One" disc.
Naughty Dog's Eric Monacelli also clarified a few things regarding the so called "Team ICE" of Naughty Dog. He clarified that Team ICE doesn't have any official representative and its just a part of Naughty Dog.
When asked: "I thought ICE Team was represented by @ermonacelli and @arnemeyer since it's part of ND?" Eric replied:
"who said we are any good? :) no, ICE is just in our studio. we don't officially rep. They are ninjas tho."
The Last of Us: Remastered is scheduled to launch on July 29 exclusively for Playstation 4.
