Dev Explains Why FFXV Demo Won't Run At 1080p/30FPS, No Weather Effects, Final Build 60% Complete & More

Today, Square Enix, during Active Time Report, showcased brand new gameplay footage of Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae and shared some interesting new details regarding the development status, resolution/FPS, weapons, enemies, demo stats carrying over to full game and many more thing.

You can watch the new gameplay footage of FFXV: Episode Duscae showing a small glimpse of the game's controls, it was running on Xbox One. Game Director Hajime Tabata revealed that Final Fantasy XV is 60 percent complete. This percentage completion figure is from when the game was rebooted as "Final Fantasy XV". Previously, it was known as FF Versus XIII, which was announced way back in 2006.

No weather effects in upcomin Final Fantasy XV demo because detailed effects aren't completed in time
On topic of map size in the demo, Tabata stated he really don't know about it but map creator said 10 times bigger

A red gauge appears when enemies are close. Encounter gauge. Then battle starts and it disappears.

Camps also function as fast travel. You can quickly return to the last camp you rested at.
