Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Improvements Detailed, Skyrim Confirmed: Leak
New rumors about Nintendo Switch just popped up on the Internet as we get closer and closer to the day we'll know all the official information coming directly from the Japanese platform holder - January 12, or 13 depending on your territory and time zone. This time, we have a few possible leaks from Australian retailer EB Games.
Those leaks seemingly are about the dedicated Nintendo Switch version of Mario Kart 8, which is said to be featuring a new Battle Mode, 24 extra tracks and 10 new characters. Mario Kart was part of the first official Nintendo Switch trailer, so there's a good chance this leak is true as we don't think Nintendo would be offering a simple port of the Wii U build
The same listing is indeed confirming Nintendo Switch version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, which was also an important part of the October 20th reveal trailer. Bethesda never provided an official confirm about that game being the true Skyrim, but as we get closer to the January event seems no further confirmation is required.
Both the games could be available at launch, and that would honestly make a great launch lineup even though these titles have been around for a while. Good games never get old, though, and considering that you could carry them over anywhere thanks to Switch's portability... they're going to be even better.
