Mass Effect Andromeda Early Review Impressions Details Side Quest, Solid Performance On PS4, And More
New interesting details about Mass Effect Andromeda have slipped from early reviewers' impressions, and have been reported by popular insider Shinobi602 on NeoGaf. First of all, he provided an adjustment about the reviews embargo, which is still slated for March 20 at 3:00 am Eastern (not 9:00 as previously stated).
On top of that, he discussed side quest, confirming they're going to provide much deepness to the game's background and are set to be at least as enjoyable as Horizon: Zero Dawn's. Some will be more profound than others. "Kind of similar to the ‘errands’ and 'sidequests' of Horizon. Been told quite a few take you across multiple areas, different planets."
He also added that based on early reports from this Mass Effect Andromeda reviewer:
- Solid performance, very rare slowdowns on PS4, occasional pop in
- "Pacing feels good - if you are a fan and want to linger there are lots for you. If not you can speed through."
- "The characters already feel like worthy additions to Mass Effect, and as the most important aspect of the games for me that felt really good to see"
- Tempest is great to explore, tons of banter.
Mass Effect Andromeda is releasing on March 23 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
