PSN password reset site of Sony down (Updated)

The drama of Sony and Playstation Network still continues, even though users in United States and Europe are able to access Playstation Network and Playstation Store without any issue at all, many of them who are trying to change the PSN password are unable to do it as Sony's website is down.

These issues are frustrating many PSN subscriber, as when they think that everything is back to normal something or the other happens. Hope that Sony resolve this issue as soon as possible and finally ends the dilema of PSN users.

Found a fix. Go to http://us.playstation.com/ upper right log on with old info. It will email you a link to reset your password. It works and I am now downloading my first free PSP game. Nice of the pukes at sony to tell us this.

I waited patiently until sony said all is well. when i tried to log on after all this stuff happened. i get tied up in this ridiculous loop. the people that changed their passwords a week ago are doing fine. why not me use my old password until its fixed.

Ugggh, I'm in the same boat. Tried resetting the password and got the error message, so I called the number I saw on the password reset help page. It told me there was a password reset line, so I pressed that number and waited 15 minutes. Someone picked up and I asked to reset my password but they said you have to do it online via email. I told them the site was under maintenance, they said I know and that they were working on it. Hopefully it's back up before midnight so I can claim these games or I'm gonna be raising some hell with Sony customer service.

Claiming the store is fully restored but it loops you into the you-must-reset-password and Password reset is STILL DOWN. Glad I only own a used PSP and bought an X360 instead! FIX IT YOU IDIOTS!!!!!!!

Hurry the F up sony, because of this I had to change my password once and now I cant even remember it and I cant reset it because of your stupid website is down!

What a load of bullsh*t, everything working fine and just try and change password and all starts over again, IE no PSN until Sony fix it. Sort it out!
