Sony confirms Resistance 3 multiplayer need "PSN Pass"

Insomniac's upcoming shooting game title Resistance 3 will have an online "PSN Pass" for multiplayer portion, it will be very much similar to the online pass that Mortal Kombat and Crysis 2 received when the game was launched a couple of month ago.

PSN Pass was first leaked yesterday on the upcoming Resistance 3 bundle. This pass will allow gamers of Resistance 3 to play online multiplayer portion of the game.

SCEE said, "We are always evaluating new programs for our online offering, and starting with Resistance 3 this September, we will be instituting a network pass program for PS3 games with online capabilities,"
