Pachter: 3DS still have some potential to rebound

Nintendo 3DS sale is not as good as it was expected. There might be many reason for this, but Michael Pachter, a well known industry analyst is still somewhat hopeful and expects that 3DS will rebound.

In an interview to Gamasutra, Pachter said, Nintendo is "currently well off targets for 11 million Nintendo DS, 16 million Nintendo 3DS and 13 million Wii systems in the fiscal year."

3DS still have some potential to rebound as there are a number of applications and many strong software releases this fall. Pachter also believes that Netflix will be one of the Key application especially if 3D straming arrives at some point for 3DS.
