A huge shocker for Nintendo, hackers has managed to launch a 3DS game ROM by making use of a flashcard.

The new flashcard is known as "Crown3DS", and the hacker who developed it has already launch a website for the same. A video footage is also released on YouTube as a proof that Crown3DS really works.

In the footage below, you can see a players launching Splinter Cell 3D ROM on a 3DS using a flashcard connected to huge microchip.

These flashcard is currently in testing phase, and will soon be available in the market. It seems like nowadays it's really impossible to keep a popular device unhacked for a long period of time.

I used to do that when I was younger with PC games and my Dreamcast to be honest. I stopped doing that because people deserve compensation for their hard work. So if that's what you do, who can blame you.. but when do you stop? Can you keep living in such a lie? ... Nintendo might agree it a degree (they must do it themselves LOL) but at a certain point you and them might agree, that they really put a lot of hard work into it.

i think its terrible.i think that the hackers should wait at least a year or two before they hack the 3ds.now nintendo is going to stop there plans for big title games cause piracy.hopefully they make an update that stops the flashcard.remember smash bros 3DS is still not being developed so if they cant block the flashcard then they may never start development.

Sounds gay in my opinion. It might look cute for a kid, who can blame them if they forked out $250/$170 for it plus all the accessories and 5 games at launch, sounds like a nice thing to add to that $700+ investment. I would actaually blame you if you don't since you're only a teenager once. Anyways, maybe later in the future for the Nintendo 3DSi+ they might reconsider such a thing and agree that it was built by the money of those who paid... they can lie all they want and want to contribute to Nintendo's wealth instead so we can improve the gameplay through a more realistic approach *cachink!*
