PS VITA coming to US, Europe on February 22

Jack Tretton, Playstation CEO has announced that Sony's upcoming handheld console PS VITA will launch on February 22, 2012 in US, Latin America, Canada and Europe.

There was a tremondous amount of pressure on Sony to announce the launch date of PS VITA outstide Japan due to overwhelming demand for the handheld. Earlier this week pre-order of PS VITA kicks off in Japan, and sold out within few minutes time.

According to the details, the supply of PS VITA in Japan is limited and demand is high, and this has lead to number of Japanese retailers to raises prices on importing.

This is an indication for all Sony fans outside Japan, pre-order PS VITA now before its too late.
