No Wii version of Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2?

Yesterday Nintendo officially announced Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2, however SEGA didn't mention Wii version in the announcement. Ken Balough in an interview to GameSpot said Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 will launch on PS3, Xbox 360, Android, Windows Mobile 7 phone, and iOS devices.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 was launched on Wiiware almost a year ago, and even after some limitation with respect to handheld's file size, the game appeared on Wii Shop Channel without any issues whatsoever.

The developer has already confirmed that Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2 will use brand new graphics engine, and many reports are claiming that this is the main reason why fans will not see Wii version.
