Rumor: 3DS Lite in development?

According to reports from Nikkei Trendy, Nintendo is working on a follow-up to 3DS. The publication reports that this new 3DS will feature enhanced battery and it will also be thinner than the current 3DS.

This shouldn't comes as a surprise to all Nintendo fans, as in the past both Game Boy Advance and the DS saw many new iterations, and it was a step in the right direction since it improved on initial hardware.
