Hirai: No Playstation 4 reveal at E3 2012

Kaz Hirai, Sony division head has made it very clear that there won't be a Playstation 4 reveal at upcoming E3 2012. Recently MCV reported that Sony and Microsoft both will revealed next generation consoles (i.e PS4 and Xbox 720) at E3 2012.

Hirai backed statement from Sony's video game division head Andy House and said, "Andy is absolutely right in that we are not making any announcements at E3. I’ve always said a 10-year life cycle for PS3, and there is no reason to go away from that."

It seems Hirai is not aware of history, launch of new console does not means end to previous generation console, the best example of this is PS2, when PS3 was launched PS2 was only six years old.
