Xbox Live connection problem reported, Microsoft issues Service Alert

Many Xbox 360 gamers are reporting some sort of issue with access to Xbox Live online network, and Microsoft is currently investigating the problem, and had issued a "service alert".

According to the details, it seems like Xbox 360 gamers in Europe are unable to connect to the network, and this happens mainly in-game matchmaking. The service alert from Microsoft does not reveal any details about the issue.

Here is what Microsoft said in Service Alert.:

"We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience"
