Rumor: Wii U is twice as powerful as Xbox 360

An Anonymous developer currently working on a brand new title for Wii U reports that upcoming console from Nintendo is twice as powerful as Microsoft's Xbox 360. The developer revealed the details on  on Wii U's power to Develop.

According to the anonymous developer, the hardware of Wii U may have been scaled down. "I’ve heard [a project designer] complain it’s underpowered compared to what Nintendo announced, resulting in people having to de-scale their plans."

For Wii U, Nintendo is using the term next generation console, but Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter does not agree with this, and did not consider Wii U as next generation console.
