Twisted Metal demo available now, matchmaking error reported

The much awaited Twisted Metal demo is now available for download on Playstation Store. However players who downloaded the demo are experiencing matchmaking error when they try to play online with other.

Twisted Metal screenTwisted Metal Creator David Jaffe is aware of this issue, and has provided few updates in this regard on his personal Twitter account. David Jaffe said:

"Aaware of the matchmaking issues some of ya'll are getting- just chatted with Sony: they are on it! Will keep u informed!

It SOUNDS like for the MOMENT matchmaking errors are more DEATHMATCH centric. Not 100% sure but try NUKE while team looks into it. Let me know if you have an easier time getting into a NUKE game? Thanks for your patience- we're sorry about this ya'll!

Still checking on the matchmaking errors folks- stay tuned :(. ALSO: AI in normal mode of final game is NOWHERE near as hard as in demo.

Good-ish news :). Just talked to Sony- they've found the problem that's preventing a large % of games being joined. They are working on the issue and it SEEMS a fix is coming very soon. Thank you all so much for being understanding! We f**king HATE this!"

Twisted Metal is schedule to launch on February 14 for PS3.

Both Deathmatch and Nuke seem to pop a matchmaking error at the same rate. I get in once every... maybe 20 tries? Hope they fix it in the next day or so.

The ai in the demo is quite easy i found. once you learn whefe the health is its not to harsh. still a craptonafun though

As expected the servers are malfunctioning just like they have with every other game...that's right im talking to you battlefield 3...really though the game is freakn awesome and i trust ESP wil not let us down with the final game...its so fresh and different from anything else out there LUV IT

I can't get in on Deathmatch but Nuke I can get in it. Its pretty good but you need a team/clan to play that mode. I wish they put in a invite a friend thingy because I got friends who want to play the Nuke Mode together.

both failing for me as well (GOD I CANT WAIT UNTIL RELEASE!!!!!!) This is the best game since diablo 2!! (Or actually since Twisted Metal 2 lol) :-P Cant wait til online is fixed for the demo to pass time for 10 days
