MW3 patch 1.08 may come to PS3 this week, no date yet for PC

Robert Bowling has revealed some details regarding status of upcoming patch 1.08 for PS3 and PC version of Modern Warfare 3. On his personal Twitter account, Bowling said MW3 patch 1.08 for PS3 has been in certification at Sony this past week and should be released by them soon.

Modern Warfare 3He further added, "we don’t control how long certification takes, thats out of our hands". When Bowling was asked regarding the estimate time frame for the release of patch, he replied, "no way to know for sure, as its out of our hands once it enters certification. However, its typically a 2 week process (1 week down)."

Regarding the launch time frame for PC version of MW3 patch 1.08, Bowling said, "I don’t have a date yet, but I’ve been asking them to start getting PC updates out in line with others platforms."

Hi All Downloaded 1.08 update today :) now stopped playing MW3 due to Lag :( all fine until I get 6 or 7 kills. Then the Lag is so bad I can't even move without running into every object in the map. So for me it's back to BF3 and I will just have to wait and see if they get this sorted, but with the way this game is being......well let's just say it's the last COD game I will be buying :( good game, but poorly implemented and very poorly supported. Try going on the MW3 homepage and finding anything out ? Lol I have seen more action from the morgue then from anyone in charge on there site. We can not even call ourselves mushrooms, as they are kept in the dark and feed on bullshit !!!! But we are just kept in the dark lol. If it wasn't for sites like this, I would not have even the slights clue on what the he'll is going on with MW3 !!!!!

the new patch sucks. connection is really bad. the mics sound really bad too.

I understand they dont control 'certification' but they do control exploitation control and they aint doin nuthin there!!!

It may be updating soon, I was able to connect once, then backing out of multiplayer and trying again it's giving an occasional "cannot connect to MW3 servers" so I'd keep tabs on it as it may be coming soon.
