Twisted Metal: Matchmaking and other issue reported by gamers, fix coming soon

Eat Sleep Play recently released game Twisted Metal for PS3 is off to a rough start, especially the multiplayer portion of the game. Many gamers are reporting that they are unable to join a game, due to some sort of network error.

Twisted Metal screenOther report said that even after joining the game, players are kicked out stating the reason as poor connection. The development team at Eat Sleep Play and David Jaffe are aware of these issues, and are working to fix it as soon as possible.

On Twitter, Jaffe said, "Matchmaking update: matchmaking going offline for 10-20 min, so Sony can install code that when servers return will make matchmaking much more stable."

Some Twisted Metal gamers also report freezing and overheating issue of PS3.

My ps3 overheats every time I play twisted metal and shuts down. It's only happening with this game. I love the game but can't actually play long enough to enjoy it. Any fixes?

Keeps Freezing but only with twisted metal. I have to restart the console every 10min. Pisses me off!

i have never played a game till the end, cause every map the info with poor connection comes and i will be kicked. please fix that. thx

Twisted Metal loads all the way to the main menu and then crashes my system. It shuts the PS3 off and sends it to the blinking red light. This is the older 80 gig model

I'm getting those errors mentioned above as well. However, sometimes when I play a match, it will go through normally, when we return to lobby it's fine, but then when we enter a new match with same group, I get kicked due to network connection right as the announcer says "Deathmatch". I'm really hoping all these matchmaking errors are fixed soon. Been a huge Twisted Metal fan since the first one for PS1

I am experiencing freezing during the brothers grimm match. It played fine up to the point when they start crashing through the bigger buildings. the music continues to play fine but the picture freezes and I have to restart the console.

The most irrritating part iis I play a awesome match and right at the end get kicked......keeps happening, get into a match sometimes to only get. Kicked...games amazing hope this gets resolved soon
