Santa Monica and others helping Team ICO to finish The Last Guardian

Sony has confirmed that several internal studios of SCE (including God of War creator Santa Monica) are working in collaboration with Team ICO to accelerate and complete the development work of long awaited The Last Guardian.

In a recent interview to Wired, SCE head, Shuhei Yoshida said, "Well, you know, it's not just Santa Monica,".

"We have great tech people in Worldwide Studios. We have a central tech group in the U.S. and the U.K. so we are giving them whatever help they need. Technically, we have the best engineers in the U.S. and Europe, so these teams are helping them, giving advice."

When Yoshida was quizzed about the release date of The Last Guardian, he replied that development work progress is great, but not at a faster level, and "it's playable, but not to the point that we can talk about the timing of launch."
