Yesterday at GDC 2012, Quantic Dream head and Heavy Rain developer David Cage revealed the first footage of their new PS3 game engine called "KARA". Quantic Dream is making use of this engine for their next PS3 project.

KARA KARA demo footage looks really stunning, but the saddest part is that apart this new tech from Quantic Dream won't be enjoyable for other platforms holders, as David Cage announced that they "are exclusive to SONY".

IGN asked David Cage, "What's Quantic Dream's Relationship with Sony?". To this he simply replied, "We are exclusive to Sony right now,"

""We're open to all options [such as becoming a first-party studio], but again, we're not a studio driven by money. It's an important element, of course, but it's not like 'Tell me how much money you give me and I'm going to do whatever you want."

Did this exclusivity deal between Sony and Quantic Dreams hurting you a lot?, since you won't be able to enjoy this amazing new tech on your beloved platforms. Let us know you views in the comment section below.
