People need to grow up and get over it. Video Games can very well be considered a form of art. The ending wasn't even that bad. I hope Bioware doesn't change the ending. People are taking this way too far. FTC complaints?!?! Filing Lawsuits?!?! This is just taking it over the edge. I don't go around demanding a new ending if a movie had a sucky ending, same concept. They made the game, they can end it however the they want.

The game is definitely in bad need of an epilogue. Cutting off right after the climax isn't exactly good writing form. Of course, the proof pointing towards the indoctrination theory is quite compelling, and that would set the stage for a much more exciting endgame.

Attention idiots: you all purchased this game to experience someone elses imagination and creativity. Why bother if you're just going to whine and complain when it doesn't coincide with your own. you're all missing the entire purpose of "A STORY!!!!!!!"

Let me see if I have this right...you're looking at one of the quotes (you'll note that the thread I posted shows quite a few) that has the word 'think' in it, and basing your entire argument off that fact? Even if you ignore that one quote, they didn't say they 'thought' they would give different endings based on your actions, they said they -would- do that; that there wouldn't be an A/B/C choice that everyone would get. And then you also posted to a thread explaining what's wrong with the ending, which seems to say you agree that the end is terrible and therefore needs some sort of revision or clarification. Are you just not sure what to think?

Im Jake IMPOSTER! -__- just because I decide to make an account some low-life decides to take the name. And the forum does a pretty good job OF listing what was wrong AT THE ENDING if you cared to spare 2 minutes of your day and read.

@corin “Fans want to make sure that they see things resolved, they want to get some closure, a great ending. I think they’re going to get that.” Interview with Casey Hudson (Director) He THOUGHT that there would be a great ending. idk... another forum tells about they tried to put squeeze in closure and ( i think it was resolution)together and totally screwed it up.

*****spoiler warning here***** It's not just the lack of closure, though. They stated that the things you did would have an impact on the ending, that you wouldn't have something like endings A, B and C that you could reference, and many other things. And then they did the exact opposite. You get to the end, and nothing you did matters. Instead, you're told you have options A, B and C, and in fact no matter which you choose, you get the exact same end with only one major difference, some coloring in the explosions... Are you really going to say that they came even CLOSE to living up to what they promised?

Don't get me wrong, though. I though the game was fantastic...right up until the last 10 or so minutes. And I think the people who want to sue them are in the wrong. But requesting from Bioware what was promised, that makes sense.

If you doubt they promised something and then failed to deliver, take a look here, where the author of this post has compiled a list of interviews/quotes about the ending that they failed to meet. http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/355/index/10056886

There was this guy on the older ME3 article on Gamepur he said ''that's what reviews are for.. idiots'' He's right.

@corin Where would you get that information from? Can you actually ''back that up'' about Bioware saying ''Oh the ending is going to be great.'' I dont think so. If you can find the article/advertisement that says ME3 has a a good ending then Bioware should change it. They didn't live up to that agreement or whatever you want to call it

Pr0n, Let's. Say you have 3 bottles of water. You drink these bottles, and the first two are exactly what you expect. The bottler has promised you that the third bottle willbe great, and when you finish it you will not need to drink any more water for a week. However, when you take the last drink of that third bottle, it tastes like crap, and dries up your mouth, leaving you thirstier than before. Would you complain to the bottler, and demand another, good bottle of water, or perhaps a refund? This is essentially what the people who have a problem with these endings are doing. Bioware promised a great resolution that would wrap up the story. At the very end, it turned out to have a sucky ending that left more questions than answers; the opposite of what they had actually stated they were going to do. Players have every right to make these demands, and I agree with them.

NO! I wouldn't I would go drink some different bottled water and stop wasting everyone's time.

But this exact scenario happens all the time in books and movies, yet people don't ask for the director to change the ending. If the ending to ME3 was that bad (it's not) then game reviews should reflect that and it should be judged as a complete product. I really hope that they do not cave in to the childish whining and choose to stand by the endings as written.

Dude the 3 endings are the same basically, the difference is the color of the explosion. Crap blows up, you die, ship crashes. GG. Not a darn thing you do changes it.

what's the point the story has been written this isn't a build-a-story book. Gamers need to collectively grow up and get over it, stop being so petty. It isn't your game it isn't your story it isn't your anything. If I where Bioware I'd tell gamers to suck one they put the millions of dollars and thousands of hours into it they can do what they want.
