Black Ops 2: PS3 gamers report "freezing, server not available" and other issues (Updated)

It seems like PS3 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is plagued lots of issues and bugs, According to numerous report coming out from official Call of Duty forum.
One of the major issue gamers are reporting is FREEZING. As per reports, Black Ops 2 is freezing while updating, playing in single-player, loading the game in multiplayer and many more. Not even these, freeze issue is reported even while creating an emblem.
Second issue is unable to connect to a game (not even multiplayer). Everytime PS3 gamers tries to connect they are greeted with a message "Servers Not Available". One affected gamer reported that he is unable to play online even after trying for massive "FOUR" hours.
Furthermore, even when the game lobbies are full, gamers are greeted with an error message that "More Players are needed to balance teams".
On all these issues Treyarch's David Vonderhaar said, "Not everyone has an issue with the PS3 freezing,"
"I'm a paltry level 10, but have not frozen once."
We will update the post as soon as we get to hear more on this issue either from Treyarch or Activision.
