Activision and Treyarch has removed the popular Nuketown 2025 map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 playlists, and guess what the publisher have been met with barrage of outage from angry Black Ops 2 gamers.
On Twitter, Treyarch Game Designer David Vonderhaar tweeted, "Double XP weekend is official over. That means Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 is as well. I know. RIGHT? Don’t kill the messenger" before informing gamers that "Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 will be back for special events. You can always play it with your friends in Custom Games."
This is really shameful act from Activision and Treyarch. Gamers who pre-ordered Black Ops 2 to secure exclusive access to Nuketown 2025 map where of the opinion that the map will be available to them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, we never close.
At no point during Black Ops 2 and Nuketown 2025 promotion, Activision mention that this popular map will be available for limited time period. Also a disclaimer of official Black Ops 2 only reads that gamers will need to download Nuketown 2025 to access to Double XP Launch Weekend but nothing is said regarding map's limited appearance.
Now what you guys have to say about this malpractice of Activision?. Share you opinion with us in the comment section below.
