In today's time GTA V is the most anticipated game, and is also a hot topic on gaming blogs and tongues of gamers. The actual reason behind this is that the last game in GTA series was launched five years ago, way back in 2008, isn't this a long time for anyone to wait for something they loved very much?. So fans are overjoyed because the best ever free roam series in history is making a comeback that too in grand style (with bigger maps, three lead character and more).
Furthermore, the last game in GTA series sold over 25 million units (most successful in franchise history), and so on an expected line GTA V will do slightly better because the install base of current consoles have increased considerably. And also the sales on GTA V will easily cross 30 million mark, if Rockstar decides to release the game on next-generation console.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
Now let's take into consideration the curious case of CoD: Modern Warfare 4, the game is not yet officially announced, but Activision just recently confirmed new Call of Duty game will indeed launch in 2013. The series has a massive fan following, and it has been growing year over year.
Going by the track record of all previous Call of Duty game, each one managed to sell more units than its predecessor, however this time around there's no confirmation that Modern Warfare 4 will have same fate. During recent investor call, Activision stated that sales of next CoD in 2013 is expected to be down from Black Ops 2, and the reason behind this is "challenged global economy" and "the ongoing console transition,".
Call of Duty series is know for its addictive and enjoyable multiplayer, and it has by it side a massive loyal fan base who will go out and purchase a new CoD game even if it is just slightly different than its predecessor.
On the other side, GTA V has the highest re-playability value (three lead character with different storyline and a massive world) and also huge fan base. So guys the competition is pretty tough, and we left it to you to decide who will WIN "GTA V or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4"?.
