Released in October 1997, Grand Theft Auto has conquered our hearts ever since, Grand Theft Auto or fondly known as GTA is not only a mere action genre game but a 'adrenaline rush' experience in itself.
GTA has been releasing in many versions with a host of characters both playable and supporting, each one has its own persona. From bad ass boys to sexy babes, GTA has place for everyone.
Let us see some of the favorite ones.
Tommy Vercetti "The Harwood Butcher" of the Vice City. He is the ultimate bad guy, a heatless man who enjoys killing. He is one of those friends who are an enemy’s substitute.
"Wait, Sonny. You have my personal assurance you're gonna get your money back, and the drugs. And I'm gonna mail you the d#@!s of those responsible!" said the Butcher. Betraying friends and being unfaithful to bosses is what this Harwood Butcher is all about.
Wu Zi Mu ("Woozie")
Being blind was never a setback for this master, example would be when he defeated CJ at video games. The leader of the Mountain Cloud Boys and The Triads and the owner of the newly opened Four Dragons Casino in Las Venturas, Woozie is all money money! But this doesn’t stop him from being as brutal as the whole GTA gang. Woozie's anger knows no bounds and one can hear many intruding words when this happens.
His makers call him strong and silent killer, he was designed that way. No contentment or remorse for any deed, this man serves only for money.
Claude is an emotionless creature, scold him for his wrong doings or compliment him for completing his tasks, this guy is just not going to pay attention, if for him it becomes extreme he will just give in but won’t say a word!
Don't know why but Niko reminds me of Jason Statham in Transporters. The good guy doing bad things. Protecting his loved ones and Fighting off the rival gang members with ease. Niko Bellic is a heartthrob.
Niko Bellic has appeared in Grand Theft Auto IV as main character and a supporting character in The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. "Life is complicated. I've killed people, smuggled people, sold people. Perhaps here...things will be different" are Niko's words.
Franklin should be called the master of time as he can slow it down allowing you to make sharp turns and cornering with amazing accuracy. Franklin has a clam personality; he always tried to keep his cool during arguments with other characters.
This ambitions man wants to make big bucks but without harming anyone, which did not happen and eventually he had to get into the gang and take lives. While playing as Franklin, the player has to make a choice when he is given two different orders of killing Trevor and Michael, completing one of which will decide the further course of GTA V.
If any character gave GTA its golden edge it would be 'CJ'. It is possible to imagine GTA without Tommy but without CJ? It's just not.
CJ is supposed to be a bad guy, which he totally is, but this bad guy has a loving heart. He does his duties well enough but he is compassionate towards his friends, towards humanity. He strives to keep off drugs and eliminate corrupt officials. Carl Johnson has a colorful personality, besides he can ride a lot of things, be it cars, bikes or aircrafts. His tattoos, hairstyles, his overall sex appeal and being a person of morals is what makes CJ a scrumptious bad boy.
Trevor has been described as a difficult person to deal with, extreme riots, impetuous, vindictive, psychopathic, sociopathic, insane, unpredictable, untamed, vile, murderers, and prone to violent outbursts and destructive. He does everything a psychopathic and ruthless manner, (very different from Michael). Although Trevor is, he is honest about it and never show the hypocrisy. He has his own charm, along with his own principles.
These were the main characters which appear in various GTA games. Who do you like the most? That one character without whom GTA will lose its thrill? If your favorite GTA character is not on the list then feel free to mention it in the comment section.
