  • Borderlands 2 PC gets new patch, fixes weapon bugs and more

    Gearbox Software has released a brand new patch for PC version of Borderlands 2 to fix weapon bugs. In order to download the patch all you need to do is restart Steam.

    Borderlands 2The developer has provided the changelog of this latest patch. We have it below for you, check it out.

    • Added support for text input using the gamepad for Steam's Big Picture mode.
    • Fixed a bug causing players to sometimes get stuck in the "Whoops" mission of the Captain Scarlett DLC.
    • Deathtrap can no longer restore an enemy's shields, even though it was hilarious.
    • Fixed a bug that caused off-hand weapons to sometimes deal improper damage while Gunzerking.
    • Addressed an issue where shotguns did not receive full damage boosts from skills and gear.
  • The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct announced for Wii U, releasing in March 2013

    Activision has just officially announced The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct for Wii U. The publisher confirmed that Wii U version of this upcoming first person stealth action will be similar to consoles and PC port.

    The Walking Dead: Survival InstinctThe only difference is that The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct Wii U version will make use of GamePad's touch screen to manage inventory.

    In a recent interview to DigitalSpy, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct producer Glenn Gamble said, "We were over halfway through the project when the Wii U thing started coming about,"

    "We didn't want to change the game, because the game had already been established, so we tried to say, 'What can we augment with the Wii U version?'

    "That's where it's basically a more elegant inventory management system. With the Wii U you have access to your backpack at all times, so you can tap what weapons you want, you can drop stuff. It's a lot more streamlined."

    The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct Wii U version will release on March 22 (Europe).

  • PS3 LifeTime sales surpass Xbox 360: Report

    If reports coming out from International Data Corporation (IDC) is anything to go by, Playstation 3 lifetime sales have surpassed Xbox 360 by a whooping margin.

    PS3 vs Xbox 360IDC states that Playstation 3 lifetime sales currently sit at 77 million compared to 76 million for the Xbox 360. This turned around happened in December 2012, despite Microsoft reporting sales of 750,000 during the annual Black Friday sales in the US.

    If true, this is really an excellent feat for Sony, as PS3 launched a year after Xbox 360 and still managed to leapfrog Microsoft's console on the sales front.

  • Five New Assignments Added for Battlefield 3 Premium Subscribers, Details Revealed

    DICE has added a total of FIVE new assignments for Battlefield 3 Premium member. So if you are a Battlefield 3 Premium subscriber, all you need to do is boot up Battlefield 3 and you will see FIVE new assignment in "My Soldier" section.

    Battlefield 3After successfully completing each assigment, you will get access to a brand new weapon skin for M416 assault rifle, the ACW-R carbine, the JNG-90 bolt-action sniper rifle, the M240B light machine gun and the PP-19 sub-machine gun.

  • SimCity Intro Video Revealed, Looks Gorgeous

    Today Maxis showed off the latest video for SimCity -- the introduction video that will kick start players' experiences as soon as they login into the game.

    SimCityUsing all gameplay footage, the video shows off Multi-city play beginning with an expansive aerial view of one of the regions in the game before it dives into city specialisation, providing fans with a glimpse into how their cities can look when they specialise in dirty coal power, clean nuclear or wind power, or tourism.

    The video ends with the first look at the Space Center, one of the Great Works that players can work to create together when the game launches in the UK on 8th March 2013.

    Developed by the renowned Maxis studio in Emeryville, SimCity delivers unprecedented depth of simulation with the new GlassBox Engine, where everything is simulated, including up to 100,000 individual Sims in a city, to every Kilowatt of power pulsing through a region of cities.

    The model-like world and detail of the simulation make this the most responsive and personal SimCity ever.
