  • Resident Evil 6 demo LIVE now for Dragon's Dogma Xbox 360 version buyers

    Capcom has just released playable demo of Resident Evil 6 on Xbox Live. The demo is now available for download for gamers who bought Dragon's Dogma on Xbox 360.

    Resident Evil 6According to the details revealed by Capcom, Resident Evil 6 demo will deliver a taste of all three campaigns set to be included in the final release.

    Other Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 gamers will be able to download Resident Evil 6 demo on September 5.

    Alan Wake franchise developer Remedy has registered a new domain called as "". The whois looup confirms, Remedy Entertainment as the owner of the domain.

  • PS VITA firmware 1.8 will add PS Classics support, releasing in Summer 2012

    Playstation VITA upcoming firmware 1.8 will be released at somepoint this Summer, and guess what, it will add PS Classics support. Sony Japan confirmed this today in a press release.

    PS VITAThis PS Classics support for PS VITA will allow gamers to play games like Final Fantasy VII, Ridge Racer Type 4, Vagrant Story and more, on PS VITA's screen.

    Here is what Sony said in a press release:

    "You can enjoy the games that were released in the past on the PC Engine and PlayStation, in version 1.80 on PS Vita"

    Currently PS VITA owners are on firmware v1.69, it is expected that Sony will skip v1.7 and will directly release firmware v1.8 in few weeks time.

    This is really great news for all PS VITA owners across the globe, isn't it?.

  • Blizzard: No BAN for playing Diablo III on LINUX

    Blizzard has once again confirmed that playing Diablo III on Linux will not get any gamers banned but cheating will. Recently many gamers claimed that Blizzard banned them from Diablo III just because they were playing the game on LINUX.

    Diablo IIIIn response to this thread, Bashiok said, "We’ve extensively tested for false positive situations, including replicating system setups for those who have posted claiming they were banned unfairly. We’ve not found any situations that could produce a false positive, have found that the circumstances for which they were banned were clear and accurate, and we are extremely confident in our findings.

    He further added, "Playing the game on Linux, although not officially supported, will not get you banned – cheating will"

    So in simple terms Blizzard clearly stated that you won’t be banned for playing Diablo III on Linux (although it is not officially supported) but cheating by any means will get you banned.

  • HALO 4 needs whooping 8GB HDD space: Microsoft

    Microsoft has just announced that the next installment in the popular Halo franchise titled as HALO 4 will need a minimum of 8GB HDD space for multiplayer section to work.

    Halo 4Since Xbox 360 4GB, Arcade and Core consoles does not come with a HDD, the publisher recommend gamers to go and pick one from the market.

    Microsoft also confirmed that HALO 4 will also run on Xbox 360 flash drive, which is available in 8GB and 16GB, and enough space will be left out for gamers profile, save games, and Halo 4 installation.

    So no need to worry at all, there's enough option for Xbox 360 gamers.

    Halo 4 is schedule to launch on November 6 for Xbox 360.

  • Gears of War 3 gets special double XP event, begins July 4

    Epic Games has announced a double XP weekend for Gears of War 3 to celebrate US independence day. This double XP event will begin on July 4 and will offer special double XP.

    Gears of War 3This double XP will be available for multiplayer portion of the game and Horde Mode and Beast Mode. No details yet as to when it will end.

    In addition to this, Epic Games is also offering a unique “Top Wingman” game mode. It will allow gamers to select a special weapon skin per 5 starting weapons, and they are all Top Gun themed.

  • NHL 13 "Last Man Standing" trailer shows new goalie mechanics

    EA Sports has released brand new trailer for their upcoming hockey title NHL 13. This new trailer highlights game's new goalie control system.

    NHL 13It shows new anticipation mechanic and the ability to control goalie limbs, as well as improved goalie AI.

  • Minecraft patch 1.3 coming out on August 1

    Jens Bergensten has revealed the Mojang is planning to release Minecraft v1.3 on August 1. Bergensten stated on Twitter, "the plan is to get 1.3 out on August 1".

    Minecraft logoIt was also confirmed by Bergensten that gamers will get to beta test this new patch 1.3 of Minecraft a full one week prior to its release. This new update carries number of fixes and new features including trading with the villagers known as Testificates.

    One thing to notice in these tweet from Bergensten is that he used #ValveTime which implies that if bugs appears Mojang may delay the release of patch 1.3 for Minecraft.
