  • Modern Warfare 3 Spec Ops, multiplayer and more details leaked

    Kotaku has revealed some key details related to Modern Warfare 3. First of all the launch date, according to the site Modern Warfare 3 will launch on November 8. And now without much a ado, lets check out full list of details.

    The game opens moments after the cliffhanger ending of Modern Warfare 2 with the US struggling to stave off a surprise Russian attack. The single-player campaign will ping-pong players around the world as they take on the multiple throwaway roles as a Russian Federal Protective Services agent, SAS Operative, tank gunner, and AC-130 gunner as well as key characters from previous installments and new recurring characters. The game will feature about 15 missions, kicking off with the invasion of Manhattan by a Russian force and wrapping up with a final encounter in Dubai.

    Single Player:

    Modern Warfare 3 single player campaign will feature a total of 15 levels set in location around the world from Manhattan to the catacombs of Paris.


     According to Kotaku source Modern Warfare 3 will feature 20 multiplayer maps, however it is still not clear whether the number will be cut before the release or some will be sold later as a DLC content. Modern Warfare 3 will also feature mission-based and survival Special Ops modes. Mission based levels in MW3 will be designed very much similar MW2, whereas Survival maps will have gamers battling until they are overcome by waves of enemies.

    The details are not yet confirmed by Activision.

  • Square Enix confirms Deus Ex: Human Revolution website hack

    Square Enix has confirmed just a while ago that hackers have gained access to numbers of company's websites today. The publisher also confirmed that 25,000 email addresses and upto 350 job seekers resumes were stolen from the site by hackers.

    Square Enix spokesperson said, "Square Enix can confirm a group of hackers gained access to parts of our website as well as two of our product sites.

    "We immediately took the sites offline to assess how this had happened and what had been accessed, then took further measures to increase the security of these and all of our websites, before allowing the sites to go live again.

    "Regrettably up to 350 of these resumes may have been accessed, and we are in the process of writing to each of the individuals who may have been affected to offer our sincere apologies for this situation.

    "In addition, we have also discovered that up to 25,000 email addresses were obtained as a result of this breach. These email addresses are not linked to any additional personal information. They were site registration email addresses provided to us for users to receive product information updates.

    "No dissemination or misappropriation of any other personal information has been identified at this point.

    "We take the security of our websites extremely seriously and employ strict measures, which we test regularly, to guard against this sort of incident."

  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution official website hacked, fans personal information stolen

    KrebsOnSecurity report that the official website of Square Enix's upcoming sci-fi game title Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been hacked, and tons of user information and code are also stolen.

    According to details revealed KrebsOnSecurity, data stolen from the site includes 9000 resumes, personal information from around 80,000 registered fans of Deus Ex's website.

    Reports also claims leaking of "SRC", and many speculate that it refers to the source code of the game, however this seems unlikely, and they are probably refering to the source code for the webiste.

  • Sony: Currently PSN is under testing phase in Europe, US and Japan

    Finally some good news for all Playstation Network subscriber. The official PlaystationNL twitter account few hours ago released a new information that will definitely please PS3 owners.

    According to PlaystationNL, at present PSN is being tested by few selected gamers across Europe, US and Japan.

    This implies that Sony is just checking to make sure that everything is in place before PSN is restore.

  • Tomb Raider launch date revealed?

    According to user name "Catracoth" on tombraider forum, Tomb Raider will be released in the second week of on December.

    Catracoth report that the date was revealed by GameStop's manager who show a list of upcoming games, and Tomb Raider was also mention in the list with December 13 as its launch date.

  • UK Government warns Sony over PSN outage

    United Kingdom Culture Minister Ed Vaizey has lambasted Sony in response to PSN outage and said that company must make online security a new priority.

    However Ed Vaizey insisted that Government would not interfere and let Information Commissioner Office decide whether to fine Sony or not.

  • Ubisoft delays Ghost Recon Future Soldier

    The launch of much awaited and highly anticipated Tom Clancy shooter Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has been delayed. Ubisoft has announced that the company will now launch Ghost Recon: Future Soldier fourth quater of 2012.
