  • Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel edition announced?

    Surprise for all Duke Nukem fans. A special edition for Duke Nukem Forever has appeared from nowhere, its called Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel edition, and it has tons of extra goodies incorporated in it.

    According to the details Balls of Steel edition of Duke Nukem Forever features:

      Official confirmation is still awaited.

      Duke Nukem Forever will launch on May 3 in United States, and in others part of world on May 6 for PS3 and Xbox 360.

      UPDATE: 2K has officially confirmed this special Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel edition, however price for it is not yet out.

    • Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood PC version to have 3D and multiple monitor support

      Ubisoft German boby has released a new video which gives out details about the new features that will be included in the PC version of Assassins Creed: Brotherhood. According to the details revealed in the video the PC port of the game will have graphical enhancements as compare to console releases, 3D support and multiple monitors.

      Basically the PC version of the game will have support for Nvidia 3D vision and AMD's Eyefinity tech which allow gamers to link together multiple monitors for having widescreen views of Renaissance Italy.

    • PixelJunk Shooter 2 Release date announced by Q-Games

      Q-Games has announced release date for PixelJunk Shooter 2, it will be coming out on March 2 for PS3. The game will feature three new worlds, a new online versus more were gamers get access to 20 new weapons to use against their opponent.

      Dylan Cuthbert, Studio President said the sequel is "packed even more full of lovely gushing liquid action.", More details on the game will be revealed in coming days concluded Cuthbert.

    • Sony gets access to George Hotz's HDD

      In Sony Vs GeoHot court battle, the console maker has got first major victory as the judge presiding over the matter granted them the access to GeoHot's HDD. It is said that HDD houses many important data used by GeoHot for jailbreaking the Playstation 3.

    • No First Strike DLC for Wii version of Black Ops?

      When Activision announced Call of Duty: Black Ops for Wii, many were asking the question whether the game would receive DLC when the map pack were released for consoles. Later on all the speculation were cleared by the game's instruction manual which stated that Wii version of the game would indeed get a DLC add-on.

      However a statement in the publisher's earnings report portray a totally different picture, it indicate that currently there is no planned of DLC for Wii version of the game.

      On February 1, 2011, Activision Publishing released Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike, the first add-on pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops, on Xbox LIVE. The map pack set new Xbox LIVE records with more than 1.4 million downloads in the first 24 hours, an increase of more than 25% over last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package.The map pack also will be available on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system on March 3, 2011 and on the PC later in the quarter.

    • Guerrilla Games: Over 500,000 gamers participate Killzone 3 beta

      Guerrilla Games has released some interesting stats for their ongoing beta for Killzone 3. According to the details given out, more than 500,000 gamers all around the world participated in the beta. There were 350,000 matches and 55 million kills in the multiplayer beta for the game.

      The developer also revealed that two gamers even managed to surpass 1 million XP mark in just one week. A patch update for the game is also schedule to release today for fixing the following issue that were discovered in the beta:

      • High load caused the database to fall over
      • Score posting
      • Flickering screens
      • Ribbon stats not updating
      • Vulgarity filter

      Solutions underway:

      • Guerrilla has already released a patch. At the time of writing this has gone live in the EU. The other territories will follow shortly. We have no ETA on that.
      • Guerrilla has made improvements for the server connection issues. The server was brought down and back up for that on Monday, 7 February 2011.
      • The problems with the filter should be fixed now.
      • Guerrilla will continue to update the servers and patch the Beta if needed and are watching your feedback closely on
    • Inversion coming out in United Kingdom on February 8, 2012

      Namco Bandai has announced the release date for their third-person co-op shooting game title Inversion. It will be coming out on February 8, 2012 for PS3 and Xbox 360 in United Kingdom.


      The game combines hard-hitting, adrenaline-pumping action with a revolutionary gravity manipulation engine. Featuring the Grappler weapon, players will be able to manipulate gravity for their own purposes.

    • Two World II Patch v1.2 Available for Downlaod

      A new patch update for Two World II is now available for download for PC and Mac. This new patch upgrade RPG sequel to v1.2, it fixes number of issues faced by gamers in the game and also include balance changes.

    • Activision Announced new free to play Call of Duty title for China

      Earlier Activision end Guitar Hero franchise and canned True Crime: Hong Kong, and now they announced a new free-to-play Call of Duty title for China.

      Eric Hirshberg, Activision Publishing CEO said, "We're developing a free-to-play micro-transaction based Call of Duty title for the exploding market in China,"

      "This effort, although not slated for this year, has tremendous potential in its own right, but will also offer learnings that we can use throughout our organisation.

      Hirshberg also announced bulk of new game titles that they will be releasing in 2011.
