  • Sony's "Free Christmas Gift Cars Pack" for Gran Turismo 5 turned out to be a Japanese Exclusive

    Sony a few weeks ago announced that Gran Turismo 5 gamers all around the world will be receiving a Christmas Gift Cars for free which will give them a free access to Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640, Jaguar XJ13, and a BMW M3 Coupe.

    Now the reality about of this Free Christmas Gift Cars is that it is available exclusive to Japanese gamers only, to be more precious with all of you it is available to those gamers who own a Japanese copy of the game (means if you own a Japanese PSN account but not the Japanese Copy of game you won't have this pack).

    Looking a bit disappointed...?? me too.. wanted to try my hands on Jaguar XJ13 but now i can't.

  • Lawsuit Claimed Against EA

    A new lawsuit has been filed against Publisher Electronic Arts and this time it is in response to a price price inflation on all Madden titles by up to 70%.

    EA who has an exclusive rights agreement with NFL in accordance with these price inflations said to have violated the antitrust and consumer protection laws by holding these exclusive licenses with the NFL and others companies including NCAA and Arena Football League.

    Hagens Berman a law firm which is representing the consumer in this case said that “we believe EA forced consumers to pay an artificial premium on Madden NFL games.”

    No words were given out on this from EA.

  • EA Revealed Dead Space 2 PC System Requirements

    The launch of Dead Space 2 is still a month away, however Electronic Arts today has given out the PC System Requirement for the game.

    A very first rumor after Christmas has surfaced and guess what it a big one "A details about Batman: Arkham City Multiplayer".

    A unnamed source has revealed that Rocksteady is very much impressed by multiplayer part of Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption in particular the Free Roam aspect of the game, and they have almost finalize to emulate that in Batman: Arkham City Multiplayer.

    The source further continued that gamers get to select the character they want to play from the pool of 12 characters, once done with picking up the character they will enter a lobby that doesn't have that character.

    Last thing the source revealed about Batman: Arkham City Multiplayer is that will also have a leveling system where gamers get to unlock a character-specific achievements.

    In addition to multiplayer Batman: Arkham City will also feature co-op campaign.

  • GameStop Started taking pre-orders for Nintendo 3DS

    According to the details by sources on NeoGAF, a well known retailer in US GameStop has already begun taking pre-order for Nintendo 3DS.

    It has been reported that GameStop started taking pre-orders for 3DS
    from yesterday morning, they are taking $50 as deposit from customer who
    wish to pre-order.

    Currently gamers can pre-order the upcoming handheld console 3DS in store.

    Nintendo 3DS launches in Japan on February 26, North American and European release date is yet to announced.

  • EA Revealed Two New Screens for iPhone version of Dead Space

    For past two to three days we are listening lot about Dead Space 2 from EA, but to remind you EA has a iPhone version of the original game in the series Dead Space in development, and just a while ago two screenshots for the game is revealed.

    Check out both of them below, they both looks awesome and seems like it will be playing very much like the console version of the game.

  • Epic Games new IP will be unveil at 2011 Games Developer Conference

    Epic Games new IP will be revealed at 2011 Games Developer Conference which take place in California from February 28 to March 4.

    Till now Epic Games has been quite successful in keeping their new IP under wraps even though there were many rumours that the title in question is for Kinect, but there isn't any concrete evidence to support it.

    In an interview Cliff Bleszinksi, Epic Games Lead Designer said "I believe game designers are the Stan Lees and Jack Kirbys of our day,"

    "we're creating these universes that leave a huge impact on people. Gamers votes with their dollars and they often like established IP, but those IPs came from somewhere, right?"

    He further added "Call of Duty was crafted by the original Medal of Honor guys. Gears of War was crafted by the original Unreal Tournament guy. I look forward to creating what's next."

  • Microsoft denies it's upgrading Kinect's accuracy

    A week ago there were reports doing around that Microsoft is all set to quadruple the resolution of Kinect by increasing resolution to 640X480.

    The reports also revealed that Microsoft is also working on the compression technology which will help Kinect output the data to Xbox 360 at faster rate.

    However Microsoft today denied all these reports. In an statement to one of the gaming site they said:

    “We’re constantly working to expand and improve on experiences for Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE. However, this rumor is completely unsubstantiated.”
