  • Duke Nukem Forever finally approved for Germany, rated 18+

    Gearbox Software upcoming first person shooting game title Duke Nukem Forever has been approved for German launch, the game got 18+ rating in the territory (uncut version).

    The news was confirmed by 2K spokeswomen Elizabeth on the game's official forum, here is what she wrote:

    Hey guys,

    I wanted to officially announce some news that I know some of you have been wondering about for a while: What age rating DNF got in Germany, and whether the game was cut at all.

    We received an 18 age rating and the game is completely uncut – you will also be able to choose to play in English or German!

    Duke Nukem Forever will launch on May 3 in North America, and on May 6 worldwide for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

  • COD: Black Ops First Strike DLC for PS3 gets new trailer

    Last week Tryearch's Community Manager, Josh Olin announced on twitter that a new teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops will be coming out soon.

  • 3DS to get firmware update in May, will allow DSi games transfer and more

    Nintendo has announced today that their latest handheld console "3DS" will get a worldwide firmware update in the later part of May which will add lots of new features and functionality to it such as DSi Ware, Virtual Console, and 3D Classics.

    After installing the firmware update gamers having DSi games will be able to transfer it to 3DS, more details will be reveal in coming day on how this can be done. Wii's Virtual console will enable gamers to download many classic games from classic console.

    In addition to all these the developer is also planning to remaster many of its classic game title into full 3DS.

  • PES 2011 new DLC coming Mid March: Jon Murphy

    PES 2011 will receive a new DLC content in mid-March which will feature Team Lineup Updates, New Team Strips and New Football Boots. The new was confirmed by PES team leader Jon Murphy on Twitter.

    Here is what Jon wrote on Twitter: "Okay guys, the New DLC Pack is coming Mid March and will feature Team Lineup Updates, New Team Strips and New Football Boots! Stay tuned!"

    Last month Konami confirmed PES 2011 3D as 3DS European launch title and also revealed bulk of details about the game, you can check out the details here.

  • New Battlefield 3 screenshots and first In-Game footage revealed

    EA has just released two new screenshots and first ever in-game footage for their much awaited and highly anticipated game title Battlefield 3. First lets talk about two new screenshots, the details in it clearly points out Battlefield 3 is more tighter and graphically enhanced than previous installment in the series.   • InFamous 2 beta coming out in April

    Earlier today Suker Punch launched a new Mission Creator trailer for their upcoming game title Infamous 2, and now the developer has confirmed that beta for the game will release in early part for April. The developer promised to revealed more details in this regard on March 14.

    However this public beta of Infamous 2 won't be available to all gamers, as many reports are claiming that the Infamous 2 beta will be available only for Playstation Plus subscriber and to those who pre-order the game. Official confirmation is awaited. So do check back with us for more updates on this.

  • Sony: Playstation Home Update 1.5 will launch in Spring 2011

    Sony has confirmed that Playstation Home Update 1.5 will launch this Spring which will add real time multiplayer support for the games, and along with that it will improved the graphics and physics.

    At GDC roundtable, developer Lockwood announced that Sodium 2: Project Velocity, a sequel to Home attraction Sodium, will be the very first title to take advantage of all the new features.

    Since its launch two years ago, PlayStation Home has evolved into a dynamic social game platform, and with the update to version 1.5, we’re giving developers the tools to create even more compelling high quality game experiences,” said Jack Buser, director of PlayStation Home, Sony Computer Entertainment America. ”Lockwood is one of the first to push the capabilities of this new technology with Sodium2-Project Velocity, and the result is incredible.

  • GDC 2011: Suker Punch to reveal Big Secret today

    Sucker Punch, developer of inFamous 2 and Sly Cooper has announced on its official facebook page that today at GDC they will reveal a big secret, that was kept under wrap by them for more than two years.

    Today is very exciting day. We’ve been holding a big secret for the last two years and at GDC later today… We get to tell you all about it.
