  • Report: EA did not allow Kotick to see Battlefield demo at E3

    A trusted and senior informant close to CVG has said that at E3 this week, Activision head Bobby Kotick was denied access to demo of Battlefield 3.

    According to the details leaked by source, Kotick's PA on Wednesday morning went to Battlefield 3 demo area, and asked EA representative for a permission on behalf of Kotick to get few moments with the game.

    To this EA representative replied that senior management of the company has said obliging such a request “would not be possible.”.

  • Ubisoft announce launch date of AC: Revelations and CoJ: The Cartel

    Ubisoft has just revealed the exact launch date of Assassin's Creed: Revelations and Call of Juarez: The Cartel.

    According to the details revealed, next game in the Assassin's Creed franchise, Revelations, will launch on November 15 for PS3, PC anf Xbox 360.

    Call of Juared: The Cartel is schedule to launch on July 22, PC version of the game will be released on August 26.

  • Motorstorm Apocalypse launch cancelled in Japan

    Sony has cancelled the launch of Motorstorm Apocalypse in Japan. The firm did not provide any reason whatsoever for the cancellation of Motorstorm Apocalypse.

    Previoulsly it was scheduled to launch in early part of March worldwide, but it was delay all because of earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 11.

  • Bobby Kotick: Battlefield 3 stands no chance against Modern Warfare 3

    Bobby Kotick, Activision CEO has said that DICE upcoming shooting game title Battlefield 3 stand no chance against Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as its lead platform is PC, which implies that it targetting a small audience to participate.

    In an interview to CNBC, Kotick said, “So far, I’ve only seen Battlefield 3 on a PC. I haven’t seen it on a console where the bulk of our business is,”

    “If it’s just a PC title, as it looks like today, that’s just a small audience to participate,” he added.

    Battlefield 3 will launch on October 25 in US, and on October 28 in UK. MW3 will launch on November 8.

  • Report: PS VITA battery life very much similar to PSP

    A first report regarding Playstation VITA battery life has emerged. According to the details revealed the battery life of upcoming handheld from Sony will be close to that of PSP.


    The firm is keeping this as a general target for the handheld. Engadget reports says, "[Sony's] not talking battery life, but a developer told us that - with the exception of graphically intensive titles like Uncharted - the company's shooting for parity with the original PlayStation Portable."

    The screenshot of the map reveals some in-game location, these locations are The Bowery, Park Row, Ace Chemicals, Confiscated Goods Vault, Wonder Tower, Church/Medical Center, Amusement Mile, GCPD Building.

  • Mirror's Edge 2 using Frostbite 2?, possible, says EA

    Frank Gibeau, EA Games has said that their is every possibility, Mirror's Edge 2 will be running on Frostbite 2 (used in development of Battlefield 3).

    In an interview to GameTrailers was quized about Mirror's Edge 2 on Frosbite 2, to this he replied, "you'll see that combination, I'm sure".

    "We haven't killed Mirror's Edge," he continued. "We're actively looking at how to bring it back in the right way. We love that franchise. The DICE guys really created something I think special the first time around. You've got to have a big idea to be able to do the next one and that's what we're working on."

    It has been rumored for a long time that Mirror's Edge 2 is in development, despite many reports claiming the game has been cancelled.

  • Modern Warfare 3: 13 minites of "Black Tuesday mission" video released

    At 13 minutes of uninterrupted gameplay video of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been revealed which shows game's Black Tuesday mission.

    In Black Tuesday mission, America are struggling to cope with Russian invasion force, in this mission player is tasked with battling his way to US Stock Exchange.
