  • Steam Gets Wallet Feature

    Wallet functionality has been added to Steam which will allow all the user to add funds to their account directly.

    User will be able to add anything in between €5-100 (Currency depends on the location of user).

    But before you deposit anything into your account here is latest condition added for all the Steam user “Funds added to the Steam Wallet are non-refundable and non-transferable,”

    “Steam Wallet funds have no value outside Steam and can only be used to purchase Subscriptions and related content via Steam (including but not limited to games offered on the Steam Store).”

  • Goldeneye for PS3 or 360?

    Goldeneye which is slated to release on November 2 on Wii, may also be making its way on to Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 in near future.

    Julian Widdows of Activision said, while it’s unlikely it will happen, the possibillty of a PS3 or 360 version of Goldeneye isn’t entirely out of the question.

    “We would really hope that everyone who wants to play it will go and play it this year,”

    “We’ve spent so much time and effort, personal time and effort… You know, kids have been born! There’s a list of GoldenEye babies somewhere!

    “This is the console we’ve made it for.”

    He further added that, “Never say never, Who knows? Things happen, don’t they, with big publishers? But for the time being it’s all about the Wii, and that’s really how we hope people will go and experience it, because that’s how it’s been built. It’s not been built for the PS3 and Xbox 360, it’s been built for this.”

  • Nintendo celebrates Super Mario Bros. 25 years anniversary

    It is undeniable that everyone who read this, like it or not, Super Mario still holds the title King of the platforms.

    Nintendo is celebrating because 25 years ago, Super Mario Bros. was released in Japan for Famicom, also known as NES.

    "Stimulated by advancements in technologies, we have always enjoyed creating the Super Mario Bros. games. The series has always taken advantage of the latest technological advancements and is the fruit of creativity of many of my hard-working friends working closely as a team" says the creator of the character, Shigeru Miyamoto.

    Among all the titles of the franchise now total over 240 million units sold worldwide .

    To celebrate the event, Nintendo has opened a website where members can participate by submitting a video with your opinion about the series, your memories, congratulations or anything else you can think of related to Super Mario, to which other fans can comment.

  • Heavy Rain Move Edition gets official release dates & Patch

    Sony has given the official release date for the Heavy Rain Move Edition. The Move edition of title will release on 08 October 2010 in Europe.

    Here is release schedule at different countries:

    • North America: September 22nd
    • UK, Ireland: 8th October 2010
    • Australia & New Zealand: 7th October 2010
    • Rest of PAL: 6th October 2010

    The Heavy Rain Move Edition contains the following additional content:

    • The Taxidermist playable scene
    • 3 x dynamic XMB themes for your PS3
    • Full game stereo soundtrack
    • Making Of videos: There are 9 Making Of videos totaling in around 45 minutes in length. They feature a behind the scenes insight into the game’s development with interviews from the development team and the game’s cast.

    Heavy Rain Move Edition, playstation

    This week a playable demo of this Move Edition will also release on PlayStation Store. The demo contains two levels of the game, "shady place" and "crime scene", and is fully playable with PlayStation Move.

    Who already own copy of Heavy Rain, will get Move Patch on  22 September free of charge.

    Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies, Battlefield 1943 and Assassin’s Creed 2: Bonfire of the Vanities are in contention for prestigious Golden Joystick Award

    10th September 2010 Three of 2010’s biggest downloadable videogames are fighting it out for the Downloadable Game of the Year award in the 28th annual Golden Joystick Awards, the world’s biggest video games awards event.

    Over 680,000 votes have already been cast in this year’s competition and with just over one month’s voting to go, the competition is hotting up to determine the year’s favourite downloadable video game.

    Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies, the hugely popular undead-slaying iphone version of the original PC gameplay mode is in contention for the award alongside the action-packed online multiplayer FPS Battlefield 1943. Assassin’s Creed 2: Bonfire of the Vanities, the action-adventure fantasy game set in Renaissance Italy completes the category’s heavyweight trio.

    The downloadable contenders also face stiff competition from an impressively diverse field of renowned franchises including Grand Theft Auto, LittleBigPlanet and FIFA. It’s the first time the category has been contended at the Joysticks and following a classic year for downloadable games, it looks to be amongst the strongest fields and the most difficult from which to predict a winner.

    The full list of nominations aiming for victory in the Downloadable Game Of The Year category for the 2010 Golden Joystick Awards, are:

  • No Campaign Co-Op mode for CoD: Black Ops

    After various suggestions, Treyarch now makes a clean sweep and denied a co-op mode in Campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

    There’s no campaign co-op this year”, said executive producer Dan Suarez.

    Instead, there is a local Co-Op mode in split-screen Training and Split-Screen Multiplayer. According to community manager Josh Olin it’s still to reveal the game’s fully-fledged co-op mode. It will release on November 10 this year.

  • Capcom to announce 4 new games this week

    It seems that Capcom have set mind to not go easy in upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2010.

    Through its official account on Twitter, the Capcom has ensured that this week they will unveil the development of four new games that have not yet been announced, plus new and important characters to Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

    Titles which are most expected to announce are Devil May Cry 5, Resident Evil 6, but we will have to wait to see how Capcom surprise us.

  • Test Drive Unlimited 2 Closed Beta Starts Today

    After announcing the delay until 2011, today news arrive of how Test Drive Unlimited 2 development evolves. 

    As it has been confirmed, this blend of MMO and game speed has already begun its closed beta period in PC version, with the intention of continuing to refine the project as possible before its release.
