The short trailer, lasting only 20 seconds, shows off Piplup, Chimchar, and Turtwig, which are the three main starter Pokémon for the fourth generation of Pokemon titles. The trailer also teases some of the region's legendary Pokemon near the end, seeming to hint at new legendary raids coming quite soon.
The monthly player number count trumps Fortnite, which is one of the biggest game in the world at the moment. Epic Games announced that Fortnite had just over 78 million players, 12 million less then what Minecraft is getting, back in August.
The four Pokémon have been hatchable since the start of September and were expected to leave the game later today. But Niantic announced on social media that it'll expand the allotted time that trainers have to hatch these Pokémon by eight days.
