Microsoft Should Also Offer AAA Title For Xbox One Games With Gold For Dec 2014: Here Are Top Two Contenders

Recently, PlayStation Plus subscribers heaved a sigh of relief after Sony gave in to their long pending demand of free "AAA" games for PlayStation 4 under Instant Game Collection scheme. Sony via PS Blog announced that PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS4 will receive Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition in December and inFAMOUS: First Light in January 2015. Although the announcement came few months early, it worked perfectly and as intended by Sony (to clam down the anger which aroused after DriveClub PS Plus Edition was delayed indefinitely, until further notice).

Will Microsoft follow on the same line and offer AAA Games for Xbox One owners as free, under Games With Gold scheme? This seems very likely and there are two Xbox One games on which we can place our bet, that they will be next month's Games with Gold: "Crytek's Ryse: Son of Rome and Capcom's Dead Rising 3".

Ryse: Son of Rome:

This third person action adventure title from Crytek is the top contender to be the next month's Game with Gold title for Xbox One. Although, the game received mixed responses from critics and fans, it was the graphics/visuals department that outshone all other next-gen titles at the time of its launch, and Crytek won many awards for it.

Recently, Microsoft offered Ryse: Son of Rome for free to those who bought Limited Edition "Sunset Overdrive" White Xbox One Bundle (check out the image below for confirmation). Furthermore, for some unknown reason, Ryse: Son of Rome is "Not Available" for purchase via Xbox Store. Take these hint in whatever way you want.

Dead Rising 3:

The second game that has the best chance to appear as next month's Game With Gold title for Xbox One is Capcom's Dead Rising 3. We haven't heard anything from Capcom on Dead Rising 3 in a long time and it was one of the biggest Xbox One games at launch.

With Holiday Season 2014 is just around the corner, Microsoft will try to keep Xbox One owners happy in every possible way. They already have a pretty impressive line-up: Sunset Overdrive (performing better than expected), Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Halo 5: Guardians beta and lots of multi-platform titles. So, a AAA game under "Games With Gold" scheme for Xbox One will be like an icing on the cake.
