15 Best Fallout 4 Easter Eggs and Where To Find Them

Fallout 4 is a huge game and Bethesda couldn’t resist adding a lot of easter eggs into it. There are way too many of them for us to discuss them all, and we also bet many others will be discovered in the coming months, but a few easter eggs are too interesting not to talk about here and now. So have a sit, grab some pop corn and start reading our top 15 best Fallout 4 easter eggs, often a better game than the actual game Bethesda released last week for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Fallout 4 Hidden Easter Egg

1: Hitting X on Xbox One with the loading screen up, everything’s in the display will turn green.

2: Bethesda Games Studios introduced a lot of old fashioned games for you to use in your Pip-Boy: Galaga, Donkey Kong, and more. You will just have to find the holotapes in the Commonwealth.

3: Stare for too long at your Pip-Boy and your character will smack it a few times – just to be sure it is actually working – or put his arm down because he’s too tired.

4: Fallout 4 has an Alien (1979) easter egg, as you can see from the image below. Here’s how to find it.

5: The “TV show” at the start of the game will inform you Boston Red Sox never won the World Series in 2004 following Fallout’s timeline.

6: Your companions can use your power armors and don’t consume fusion cores.

7: Outside of Concord, you can visit Walden Pond, home of poet and philosopher Henry David Thoreau. There is even a tape for you to have a little audio tour.

8: On the Freedom Trail you will also notice Benjamin Franklin’s grave site.

9: With your Power Armor equipped, you can jump from wherever you want – even an airship, literally! – without receiving any damage point.

10: Bring Codsworth with you while visiting your spouse’s cryopod and you will hear a message of condolences coming from him.

11: While first talking to robot Miss Edna, convince her to believe in love and next time you will visit Diamond City you’ll see her married with Mr. Zwicky.

12: At the Hotel Rexford in Goodneighbor you will find an old friend of yours, the Vault-Tec rep whom you meet at the beginning of the game. We won’t spoil what’s happened to him but it’s really worth of a visit there.

13: There’s a “Jaws” visual reference northwest of Diamond City.

14: On PC, open the console and type in the command screen: “coc qasmoke”. This will allow you to access an area where you have everything’s in the game, like all the Holotapes, perks and more.

15: Fallout 4 has a Christmas Day easter egg based on the in-game calendar. Visit Diamond City’s Fenway Park to see what happens on December 25 or have a look at the video below:
