Konami has just released new Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Patch 1.004 on PC. The update is now available for download on Steam, size 60MB. According to details revealed by Konami, The Phantom Pain PC Patch 1.004 carries fix for Emblem lag issue, crash issue during chapter 1 and crash during video codecs installed.

Emblem Customization performance issues fixed
Fixed problem where game would drastically slow down when creating custom emblems.

Tentative fix to address crash bugs during Chapter 1.
Tentatively fixed crashes that would occur on systems that had certain video codecs installed.

Open up your steam library, and look for MGSV in your games list.

Step 2:

Right click on the game and click properties. (as seen in the image below)
