Character Classes in Dark Souls 3 determines the stats and equipment of the player from the beginning of the game. There are 10 different types of classes and each has a unique ability from Level and strength to Vitality and Luck. Character Classes

Before we begin with the different character classes there are some important points that you must be aware off. Each Character has different attribute points and the number of souls required to level them up increases as the level is gained. It is important to select a high corresponds for a particular character stat so that you won't regret later in the game. So without any further ado, let's begin with the Character Classes.

Character Class Build

Knight

As the name says this class is very well armored and ready to take on any challenge. Knight has the highest starting vitality to hold his heavier armor and the stats are average enough to use spells later on. A mixed class with both offense and defense fighting style.

Mercenary

Having another fighter class category Mercenary lack in the Armored set as Knight but is well prepared for the Battle. This class has the maximum Dexterity level than any other class which helps the character to wield a pair of Sellsword Twinblades. If you want the close action combat then Mercenary is the best player you can get to take down the enemies with fast spinning attacks.

Warrior

Like Mercenary and Knight the Warrior Class is also counted as one of the best Starter class which has Level 7 with the Strength at 16 and Vigor at 14. With this heavy strength, you can easily wield Heavy Battle Axe(Powerful weapon) which has the highest physical damage output. If you are looking for a character with high builds then Warrior is what works best.

Herald

This class is a bit balanced blend of physical and magical attributes. The character is mostly known for long ranged attacks with best damage absorption shield. Making use of various attributes, Herald can perform Heal Aid miracle which can help this class to sustain longer and have a defensive play.

Thief

The fastest close combat class is the Thief where the player can survive with Dagger and short bow. With a high Agility and Dexterity you can easily take control of any battle and if you are out of arrows then dagger can still save you to finish off the enemy with a 14+ Luck.

Assassin

This class stalks their prey from the shadows and a well-rounded class which can take any types of equipment with him. This class has the highest Attunement which makes this play take a high amount of FP weapons and spells. If you are an Assassin's Creed fan then we don't have to tell you more about this class.

Sorcerer

Class with maximum Intelligence and Attunement from the start helps the player to perform at high FP meter and early use of sorcery spell. Even though this class will struggle a little at the beginning but trust me the power of Sorcerers are very handy and useful in the later part of the game.

Pyromancer

This class can manipulate flame along with adept close combat warrior who wields a hand axe. A Mix of good Melee attacks with a fireball will make this character a close combat and ranged attacks class. This class can learn easily and has a great melee combo to defeat their enemies.

Cleric

A Wizard sort class which deal with a maximum of Miracle Spells and has the Highest Faith than any other class. From the start, you will have two miracles unlocked - Heal and Force. Not a very armor, but can take a good amount of physical damage so keep upgrading your outfit to allow a better mobility.

Deprived

This a Challenge class where your character is a naked fighter and has a Plank shield, a Club, and Ragged Loincloth. You must start from level 1 so this will be a risky choice to make for a beginner player, but if you are a veteran player then go ahead and test your skills to get the best out of the game mechanics.
