Overwatch: How to Play as Winston and Zarya Hero Guide
Winston and Zarya in Overwatch are part of the Tank Heroes. Tank Heros tend to move with an offensive line to protect their allies and soaking all the damage. Those who didn't get the chance to play the open beta and get familiar with the characters here is a chance to know your character and this guide will show you tips on how each Hero works with attacks, defense, and his Abilities.
How to Play as Winston
Winston is an Ape and one tough Tank to get the start as the cannon has the pretty low range and is only really effective inside of 10 meters along with his jump attack ability is moderately effective at knockback but does not provide significant damage. He can be effective using the barrier and jump attacks to cause disruption in enemy strategies until his ultimate is charged.
Use this weapon to fire a short-range electric barrage for as long as he holds down the trigger. The Lighting can hit more than one target at a time so you can clear a wide area at a single blow.
With this Ability, Winston can lunge through the air, dealing significant damage and staggering nearby enemies when he lands. You need to practice a lot to get different angles than most of the tanks.
Use this Ability to extends a bubble-shaped field that absorbs damage until it's destroyed. Don't worry your allies are protected by the barrier can return fire from within it. This will last for 5 seconds and has a cooldown limit of 13 seconds.
Being an Ape, Winston's will embrace his animal nature, significantly boosting his health and making him very difficult to kill, strengthening his melee attack, and allowing him to use his Jump Pack ability more frequently. During this Ultimate Ability, you can only make melee and Jump Pack attacks.

How to Play as Zarya
Zarya has the lowest HP out of all the Tanks but if you have a look at her Abilities she can bring out a very high damage output. She is a little more complicated to run as she depends on her shields to generate better damage. Her cannon's beam is only really useful within 15 meters but the damage boost from shield absorption can be useful if not brief.
This is a weapon with a short-range beam of destructive energy and the secondary it can lob an explosive charge to strike multiple opponents. For every particle barrier damage, the cannons get stronger and stronger.
For 2 seconds the Particle Cannon can emit a personal barrier that shields Zarya against incoming attacks, redirecting their energy to enhance her weapon’s damage and the width of its beam.
One Offensive ability where Zarya surrounds one of her teammates with an energy barrier that simultaneously absorbs fire and boosts the power of her Particle Cannon or you boost the ally who is pushing forward.
The Ultimate Ability where Zarya launches a gravity bomb that draws in enemy combatants and deals damage while they’re trapped. There are hardly any heroes who can escape this bomb.
