Marvel's Spider-Man is out, and the game gives fans plenty of gadgets to try out as they take control of Marvel's famous web-slinging superhero. There's eight gadgets in total for players to collect, and each one gives Peter Parker immense control over both his environment as well as his enemies.

If you're interested in learning how to collect and master all eight, we're here to help. Before you go on, remember that you'll need to collect various Tokens or items from the story to unlock the game's gadgets. In short, this means you'll need to keep playing through Marvel's Spider-Man's main campaign. With that said, here's everything you need to know about unlocking the game's gadgets.

Web Shooters

Good news: Spider-Man's Web Shooters are available from the very start of the game. This gadget lets Peter Parker quickly deploy webs against his opponents, pinning them in place and throwing them against the wall.

Impact Web

Like most of Marvel's Spider-Man's gadgets, the Impact Web can only be unlocked by progressing through the game's opening missions. This gadget sends a powerful web shot right at an opponent, immediately sticking them to a wall and disabling them from combat.

Spider Drone

The Spider Drone lets players send out an autonomous robot that hones in on an enemy and fires an energy blaster at them. Players have to spend one Base Token and three Research Tokens in order to unlock the Spider Drone, and they must reach level eight, too.

Interested in throwing an explosive onto the battlefield? Spider-Man can web enemies caught in an area of effect attack thanks to the Web Bomb, a powerful gadget players can unlock after receiving the Web Bomb Blueprints in the game's story.

If the Web Bomb wasn't enough for you, then consider picking up the Trip Mine. This gadget is a laser-activated device that immediately disables an enemy that comes across it. You'll need the Laser Components to create it, so make sure to keep progressing through the story to get this gadget.

Concussive Blast

The Concussive Blast is the second-to-last gadget available in Marvel's Spider-Man, and you'll need to spend two Challenge Tokens and six Crime Tokens after reaching level 10 to unlock it. This gadget lets players send out a sonic pulse to knock back enemy mobs, doing plenty of crowd control in the process.

Last but not least, players can unlock the Suspension Matrix. This powerful gadget throws an enemy into the air and holds them in place, letting the player do as they please to their suspended target. You'll need to reach level 25 to unlock this gadget, along with spending two Base Tokens and four Challenge Tokens.
