How to Link Your Battle.Net and Bungie Accounts

With the Destiny 2 Beta fast approaching, if you plan on playing on PC later this summer, you’ll need to link your Battle.Net account to your Bungie account. Battle.Net is Blizzard’s online game distribution platform and will be the exclusive source of Destiny 2 on PC.

If you do not have a Battle.Net account yet, go ahead and create one first.

If you already have a Bungie account because you played Destiny on the PS4 or Xbox One, and you want to add your Battle.Net account, be very careful! It is currently possible to lose access to your existing Bungie account if you do things in the wrong order. Bungie is aware of the issue and working on a solution, but in the meantime, follow these steps very carefully.

  1. Log-in to your existing Bungie account using either your PlayStation Network or Xbox One account. Do not log-in with your Blizzard (Battle.Net) account!

  2. Once you’re logged in, hover over your avatar and select Settings.

  3. From there, choose Accounts & Linking on the left-hand side, and then click the Link button next to Blizzard.
  4. Follow the steps to log-in to your Battle.Net account and you’re all set.

Remember that the Destiny 2 Beta starts earlier on the PS4 and Xbox One and we’ve got you covered when it comes to how to download it and what to expect.
