Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles - Sprite Locations
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles has a very relaxing pace to the game and offers up several sets of collectibles. Sprites are an important part of the game, and though their role is never fully explained, they are vital in helping rid Gemea of the Murk that has befallen it. Many areas of the island are not accessible without a certain number of Sprites. We’ve listed all 26 Sprites and their location below, broken down by region. Most are easy to find, some require a little bit more effort, but we’ve got you covered either way.
All Sprites – Grasslands
You can’t miss Lumie, as she is located on your way out of the cave that you wake up in.
Lock can be found after fixing up the East Docks as part of the very first quest line in the game. Once the docks are repaired, look for the blue glow on a small boat.
Continuing the first quest line will lead to you fixing up your farm. Once it’s repaired, you will see the familiar blue glow next to the farm house.
In The Grasslands there is a broken shrine just above a waterfall, fix it up and you’ll be rewarded with Curio.
On the very Western edge of The Grassland is a trapper’s house. Follow the stairs up to the chimney and look for the blue glow to find Smudge.
All Sprites – Crestfall Coast
Look for a set of three statues and then rotate the smaller ones to face the large one. This will cause the statue to rise out of the ground and let you pick up Cub.
Visit Mocha Bay and look for the large cooking pot on a stove inside the Southern most kitchen area.
This requires you to talk to Jubilee and complete her quest. In order to craft the Festival Juice she’s looking for, you’ll have to join the Chef’s Guild. Luckily, the Master Chef is right there and you can purchase all ingredients you need at a nearby vendor. Once you present Jubilee with the Festival Juice, she’ll turn into Pouch.
All Sprites – Sunderwind Wilds
Kit can be unlocked by rotating all three fox statues to more or less face each other. Have a look at the screenshot for the exact positions.
Gable can be a bit tricky to find. She’s hiding on the roof of the Lumbermill but can only be seen at night. You also cannot just wait there as she will not show up if you’re hovering around. Maybe she’s shy…
All Sprites – Hearthwind Vale
There is a short quest inside the Farty Fen Bog that needs to be completed before Whiffy will join your backpack party of Sprites.
Go and visit Bobbintoff, a terrific little village, and head up to the stone arch at the entrance of town. Look for the blue glow to find Crescent.
Bolt can be found just down the road in Bobbintoff hiding behind a rack of textiles and a giant needle and twine.
Woodrow can be a little bit tough to get to if you haven’t progressed along the main quest line yet. The Find the Moth Sanctuary quest will take you there. You require 7 other Sprites to clear the Murk from the area and once you complete the quest, Woodrow will join you.
In the Northern parts of Hearthwind Vale, you will find two statues, one that looks awake, one that looks tired. Rotate the awake one to face North West and the sleepy one to face South West. You’ll know you’ve done it correctly when Fright appears.
All Sprites – Radiant Sands
Before heading over to the desert, be sure to pack three pairs of sunglasses, as that’s what it will take to unlock Shades.
If you wander all the way out to the shore, you’ll see some rocks sticking out into the sea. One of them is hanging from an arch and is lighter in color. Break it open with your hammer to reveal Shore.
All Sprites – Numino Peak
As you make your way up the mountain from the East side, you’ll come across a broken down house. Just to the side of it are two trees, one of which Fennec is hiding behind.
Continue up the mountain and just before you head into the tunnel path that goes all the way up, you’ll see Cete behind a tree on the right. She’s only there during the day, and you can’t be hanging out there waiting for her. Go do something else and then come back during the daytime for her.
Mian is only accessible if you’ve unlocked the Search For Celestial Ore quest that lets you enter the Stark Caverns. Once there, you have to resolve the quest line between Mian and a rather frightened Groffle.
All Sprites – Shivering Plains
Visit the town that is enclosed in ice and you’ll find Vellum in the back corner behind the lovely lady that wants you to find a miracle beard grow formula for her.
Drake is located inside a chest just on top of the town enclosed in ice. It’s easiest to climb up on the Southern side of it and cross over a narrow ice bridge.
If you haven’t been keeping up with the main quest line then you’re going to be in a bit of trouble now. In order to collect Spike you need access to Arcadia and complete the quest to get Arcadian Ice.
All Sprites – Dapplewood Forest
Repairing this shrine is easy and you’ll be rewarded with Sap.
Help a poor girl out by giving her a raincoat to stay dry in the rain. You can purchase one at the vendor in Bobbintoff. Once you return to her with it, she’ll turn into Glow.
Just North of Glow you will find Bob who’s asking you to provide him with 5 Dip Fish. Oblige him and he’ll turn into Romp.
Following the instructions above you’ll soon be in possession of all 26 Sprites in Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles. With that, nothing will stand in your way and Gemea is yours for the taking. Be sure to check out our other guides in the Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Guide Hub.
