Destiny 2 - Iron Banner Guide Season One

Iron Banner Action

Iron Banner is a week long PvP event that returns to Destiny 2. This first season runs from the 10th to the 16th of October. During the Iron Banner Guardians face off in the Crucible. Power levels are not an issue as all Guardians will be on an equal footing. Our Iron Banner Guide has all the details you need on this event.

How to Start Iron Banner

To get access to the Iron Banner you need to have the campaign finished up and have gained access to the Tower. Visit Saladin once you have hit level 20 and he will grant you access to the Iron Banner, the daily challenge and the overall weekly challenge.

How To Access Iron Banner

You can join the Iron Banner playlist under the Crucible section of your Director.

What’s the Iron Banner Mode?

Control. In control you need to capture and control flags on the map. Controlling more of these than your enemy means that your kills count for more points. Get to 100 points before your enemy to win, or have the highest score when the time runs out. Matches are four versus four.

Iron Banner Match Rewards

Winning a match will net you five tokens, losing a match will net you two. Each daily challenge you finish will get you an additional two tokens. Completing all of them and talking to Saladin will get you fifteen tokens.

Iron Banner Rewards From Saladin

Hand in tokens to Saladin to get Iron Banner packages that contain weapons and armor. Some of this will be Iron Banner specific but you can also get non-Iron Banner armor and weapons as a reward. These rewards will roll out anywhere from five to nine points of Power lower than your Guardians max Power.
