Destiny 2 - How To Find Cabal Supply Caches
In Destiny 2, each of the playable zones will have three daily challenges. One of the EDZ challenges can be to find and open Cabal supply caches. If you are new to the game this can be a bit confusing, so this guide aims to give you a quick rundown on how to find them.
Each of the playable areas is broken into smaller regions which are populated by different factions. The Cabal can be found near Firebase Hades and the Sunken Isles on Earth. All sub-regions contain small supply caches which can be found and opened. To get your hands on the Cabal ones, you will need to head for one of the Cabal occupied areas. Note, this challenge can pop up on any planet, and for any enemy groups supply caches, so learn to identify the different ones.
Cabal Supply Caches
Once there, equip the Ghost shell that Devrim Kay gave you when you first met him during the story mission. This will detect caches that are within a thirty meter range and highlight them on the screen for you with a small chest symbol.
The Cabal Supply caches are red and black and will be very easy to spot using the EDZ Shell.
A great tip for finding these caches is that the range of your ghost is extended by your weapon range when you are aiming down sight. Equip a weapon with good range and you can scan an area to find as many caches as you can. This will work even through objects and terrain, as you can see in the comparison shots below.
As already said, all the sub-regions in all the playable areas (EDZ, Titan, Nessus, Io) will contain these caches, and you may need to hunt them down on any given day as part of that region’s challenges. During the course of play you will hopefully earn plenty of Bright Engrams, which can contain new Ghost shells. Many of these shells will have a perk to find caches in the different playable areas, so pay attention to what you are getting from Tess.
Supply caches normally contain a Token for that region which can be traded in for loot to NPC vendors, a small amount of Glimmer, and may sometimes drop weapons and armor. If you have yet to unlock your subclasses, you can sometimes receive the Relic needed to gain access to those missions from the supply caches as well.
