Madden NFL 19 – How to do Roster Updates
Another year, another Madden NFL game has been released. Madden NFL 19 comes with a lot of changes.
One of those changes is where to discover if you have the most up-to-date roster that is available currently in the game. Just like previous years, if you’re connected online, an automatic roster update will happen when it appears. If you’re like me and want to make sure you have the most up-to-date roster, we’ve got you covered.
How to do Roster Updates
The Madden NFL 19 menu has changed, and instead of having everything in big blocks on the screen, you have one horizontal tile. To find out where rosters are, you will need to make your way to the gear icon called Customize.
Once you have selected Customize, a sub-menu will pop up, and the very first item on the list is Manage Rosters. Selecting Manage Rosters will bring you to a separate menu where you’re given the tools to tweak and essentially create your custom rosters.
To make sure you have the most up-to-date roster, select Update Rosters and it will let you know if you have EA’s most up to date roster.
While you can trade players, sign free agents, and manage players all from the Manage Rosters menu, you will need the most up to date roster for any online play. Custom Rosters are still available in Madden NFL 19; they’re just hidden a little.
To find Custom Rosters, all you have to do is select Franchise Mode, Start a new Franchise and select Use Custom Rosters. In Custom Rosters, you’ll be able to change a little or go all out and change the whole dynamics of a player.
If you’re like me and want the most realistic teams with players on their respected teams, you will want to select Use Real-Life Roster. This will require the most up to date roster provided by EA.
Making sure you have the most up-to-date roster is crucial for those die-hard Madden fans. Now that you know where to find the most up to date roster and where custom rosters are, nothing will hold you back in your quest to be the best Madden NFL 19 player.
