In the Heroic Cryo-Pod Public Event you will have to deal with a massive prisoner who is freed from a pod that crashes into the ground.
Destiny 2: Forsaken sees a whole new area to explore coming to the game. With it, we also have new public events involving the various new enemies to be found in Destiny 2. In the Heroic Cryo Pod Public Event, you will have to deal with a massive prisoner who is freed from a pod that crashes into the ground. You will need to deal with two waves of enemies before the boss spawns, so be sure to wipe them out as quickly as you can.
When the boss spawns in, start pouring damage into him. After he loses a certain amount of health, vents around the cryo pod will open, spilling a freezing liquid onto the ground. Destroy the vents, and this will produce a frozen orb.
When you see the orb, pick it up and throw it at the boss. Once you have hit him a few times, this will freeze him in place. Once this happens, you’ll need to defend your new boss until the orbs can all be recovered. While doing this, you will have to fend off waves of enemies.
Just keep at it until the onscreen meter fills up all the way, you will have recovered the enemy and complete the Heroic Cryo Pod Public Event. If you want to finish the event normally, you can burn the boss as soon as he appears.
