You can access ten hidden chests in the Dreaming City. We’ll show you the location of all of the Ascendant Chests in Destiny 2: Forsaken.
The Dreaming City in Destiny 2: Forsaken is full of hidden secrets for Guardians to explore. One of the most interesting ones revolves around having the Ascendance buff provided by the Tincture of Queensfoil. Continue with this guide to get the location of all ten Ascendant Chest and learn how to complete the Hidden Riches triumph.
Hidden Riches
The Hidden Riches triumph can be found in the Triumphs tab under the Destinations, The Dreaming City category. Once you’ve found all ten Ascendant Chests, you’ll be able to claim this triumph. There are different triumphs for each of the other weeks in the “curse” rotation.

Week 2 – Stronger Curse

Week 3 – Maximum Curse
In week 3, the Dreaming City is even more cursed, with Taken blights all over the place. Watch your back as you go to discover these chests. Jman0623 has created a nice video showing how to reach them all.
Location of all Ascendant Chests – Text – Week 1
Ascendant Chest 1
This chest is located near the Lost Sector just behind the transmat zone in the Divalian Mists.
Ascendant Chest 2
This chest is located just outside the entrance to the Blind Well structure on the east side of the Divalian Mists. Enter the building, and you’ll see the first structure appear in the first room.
Ascendant Chest 3
Just visit Petra, and you’ll see the first platform immediately beside her. Follow the platforms all the way up to the top of the temple structure.
Ascendant Chest 4
This chest can be found on the way out of the Aphelion’s Rest lost sector. In the screenshot, I had already opened it earlier, but it’ll appear precisely where I’m aiming.
Ascendant Chest 5
This chest is located deep inside the Chamber of Starlight lost sector, a very high-level area. You’ll need to be at least 511 power level even to be able to damage the enemies here.
Ascendant Chest 6
Head towards the large entrance in the north area of the Rheasilvia region and parkour along the cliff’s ledges on the right side until you make your way to the top of the farthest rock and start seeing ascendant platforms.
Ascendant Chest 7
This chest can be found at the far reaches of the Harbinger’s Seclude area that’s found inside the building in the Rheasilva region mentioned above.
Ascendant Chest 8
This chest is hidden inside the Confluence area which can be accessed via Taken Portals. The video may help you find its location because you’re no longer on the map in this area.
Ascendant Chest 9
Using the Confluence portal system, you can make it to the area marked on the map. From there, merely follow the platforms to the top.
Ascendant Chest 10
The final chest is accessed by making your way across many islands and to the edge of the foggy shores. It’s challenging to see where you’re going here, so check the video for details.
