Treyarch have released details for all of the Black Ops 4 maps available in the multiplayer mode at launch, along with one more free map next month.
In the run-up to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launching next week, Treyarch has revealed all of the Black Ops 4 multiplayer maps that will be available at launch. There are 14 Black ops 4 maps in total, with one more confirmed to come in November for free. Here’s everything we know about the Black Ops 4 maps.
- Frequency: A covert listening station deep in the mountainous region of Hunan Province is being used to track strategic targets across the globe.
- Contraband: Surveillance of an international arms smuggling operation has uncovered this shipping hub on a remote, uncharted island off the coast of Colombia.
- Seaside: An anti-government protest in this quaint coastal Spanish town grew out of control and forced a military shutdown.
- Payload: A defensive ICBM launch facility deep in an Icelandic mountain range has been infiltrated by hostile forces attempting to steal a nuclear warhead.
- Hacienda: A lavish vineyard estate situated on a quiet lake in the Spanish countryside, home to a high-ranking crime syndicate boss.
- Gridlock: A Japanese metropolis whose city center has been jammed up by a bank heist gone wrong.
- Arsenal: Hostile covert ops on a manufacturing facility of a powerful North American military defense contractor means someone may have stolen the keys to the castle.

On top of those 14 maps, Nuketown will be completely free in November. We’re not sure if it’s a revamped version or the classic Nuketown, but either way, we do love the small suburban neighborhood. DLC maps haven’t been announced yet but if Black Ops 4 follows the same plan as recent Call of Duty games, expect four DLC packs throughout the course of the game. Of course, this doesn’t include the Blackout map either. Treyarch has been sharing videos of the maps on their Twitter – most of which we’ve linked above – but keep your eye on their feed to see if they release any more.
